Cornwall, The Lizard

Lizard Point Lighthouse was originally 2 towers built in 1752 and its lights were powered by coal fires. They upgraded to oil powered lighting in 1812 and then electric light in 1878. It wasn't until 1903 that a single rotating electric light was installed here.
